Below is a listing and brief description of the programs offered here
at the American Gymnastics Academy Online Registration portal. If

Through our detailed curriculum, all students are enrolled in the Fun &
Fit Gymnastics Program.
Jungle Gym Preschool
-
Cubs
- Crawlers to Walkers - a 30 minute adult
assisted activity for children who are just becoming mobile. They
will be free to explore the preschool areas of the gym with their
parent/guardian. The teacher will encourage participation in some
circle activities as well as music and much more.

Tigers -
Walkers to 3yrs - a 45 minute adult
assisted lesson involving hand-eye coordination, eye-tracking skills,
basic gymnastics skills and social skills working with other children.

Monkeys
- 2yrs to 4yrs - a 45 minute
unassisted lesson involving hand-eye coordination, eye-tracking skills,
basic gymnastics skills and social skills working with other children.

Lions/Bears -
4yrs to 6yrs - a 60 minute gymnastics class
that focuses more on basic gymnastics and the introduction of
intermediate gymnastics skills. Obstacle courses are used, as well
as stations for skill development.

Stars & Stripes Recreational
Boys & Girls Ages
7 and Up

Red/White -
a 60 minute program that meets a minimum of once per week. In this
beginner program we teach the fundamentals of gymnastics including
safety in the gym, basic skill development, and core strength and
flexibility. The Red/White level program would be the equivalent of
Level 1 & 2 on the Fun & Fit curriculum.

Blue -
a 90 minute program that meets a minimum of once per week. The
Blue level program would be the equivalent of a Level 3 on the Fun & Fit
curriculum. Students who achieve this level have mastered the
basic skills for gymnastics and are truly on their way to learning the
more exciting skills our sport has to offer.

Bronze /
Silver / Gold - 90 minute classes that meet
a minimum of twice per week. These levels would be the equivalent
of Levels 4, 5, and 6 on the Fun & Fit curriculum. Students who
achieve this level have the skills to compete for our JOGA Teams and for
their High School gymnastics teams.

Tumbling & Trampoline & Boot Camp
Boys & Girls Ages
7 and Up

Tumbling for Cheerleading -

Beginner -
a 60 minute program that meets a minimum of once per week.
This program is for students with little or no tumbling experience.
In this class is where the fundamentals of Round-offs, Back
Handsprings, and Basic tumbling will be introduced.

Intermediate
- a 90 minute program that meets a minimum of once per week.
This program is for students who can already do Round-offs, and Back
Handsprings with little or no spotting.

Advanced - a 90 minute program that
meets a minimum of once per week. This program is for students
can do a Round-off Back Handspring with little or no spot, and are
working towards flipping and twisting.

Trampoline -
a 45 minute program that meets a minimum of once per week. This
program is for students who wish to learn how to use a trampoline
properly (especially for those with trampolines in their backyards).
Basic skills through front and back flips will be taught.

AGA Fitness
- a 45 minute program that meets a minimum of once per week. This
program is for students who wish to "get in shape". This workout
program will be geared towards increasing basic strength and stamina,
all the while increasing self-esteem. This is an intense program,
and should not be taken lightly!
